Conference Weekend

I love Conference. It always gives me hope, fills me with gratitude and a new resolve to follow closer to the footsteps of my Savior. This weekend was no exception! Not only did every talk feel directed personally to me I also felt so grateful for the guidance the gospel gives me in a world that is full of grey lines and uncertainty. Knowledge that Christ lives, loves me and died for me and that the commandment are just designed for our good and happiness is very comforting to me. Along with Conference we also were able to spend a lot of time with family. Dorians family were around and it made the weekend all that much more memorable. Also Michelles daughter, Katelyn, had a fun 7th birthday party.  During the session break on Sunday we went to the Draper Temple that Dorian Engineered. It will open up some time in March but it was fun to go and look around. From that one spot we could see 3 temples. The Jordan River the Oquirrh Mountain) We could see down town but not the temple.  Amazing! I hope whatever your plans you had a great weekend.
