Monica has lived in Hawaii for a long time, built a gorgeous home and we have never been out there to visit her. It was a great time and we were both so excited to share in her graduation.
Of course Hawaii is never all business. I did what I do best... Nothing and Dorian got in a little exploring time.
A huge Sea Turtle thought we were interesting.
After a few days at Hilo we went to Kona. It's on the other side of the island. Talk about night and day in the topography!

All in all a way busy 5 days but totally worth it!

What a fun trip! I can imagine it was busy...trying to see the Big Island in 5 days is crazy!
Funny how Hilo and Kona are so different. I love how many turtles there are on the Big Island!
Again, I'm jealous. But so glad you got to go for a getaway!
