Oquirrh Temple

Our family was so excited for the opening of the Oquirrh Temple. My sister Amy, is on the committee for the Open House. I was able to watch (and help where I could) as she researched West Jordan History, finding memorable things for the time capsule that is included in each temples open house and many, many more amazing projects.

My sister Michelle and my parents went with Amy to a early viewing of the temple last week. What a beautiful temple. I thought it would look more like the Draper temple inside but it defiantly has it's own personality and style. Loved it!
I hope everyone is planning on not only visiting the temple during the open house but is also finding ways to help and volunteer your time. I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully Amy can blog more details soon. Thank you Amy for letting us share in this amazing event.
