June 2, 2010 Last day of school

I'm going to jump back just a couple weeks real quick.

Morgan and Sam had their last day of school on June 2nd.

Sam finished up with Kindergarten. He had a great teacher and learned so much. He's a great reader and read 100 books in the last couple months of school. He can tell time and loves to do story problems in math. He was a really good student. He did a report on Mexico and was the Narrator for the classes production of "The 3 little pigs". Sam, you've grown and learned so much this year I am so proud of you.

3rd grade was a really fun year for Morgan. She made lots of friends and really tried to get out of her comfort zone by participating more in class. She loves to read and does it "just for fun".

This year she completed 4th/5th grade math. I wouldn't say that she loves math but she is good at it.

Her love is to draw. They had a mock presidential election and this was her paper she drew for her campaign. She came up with on her own. So creative!!

She was in her first square dance performance. (remember those from elementary school?? hated them!!)

She studied the planets in our solar system and we went on a field trip to Clark Planetarium. What a fun-filled and eventful year, Morgan!

Love you two!!
